THE LAST THING A BUG EVER SEES
HAIRY SPIDER EYEBALLS
I've been getting back into macrophotography now that things have settled down from my travels. I'm also getting back into creating fractals with Apophysis 2.06 beta.
However, this one was made with the Kai's Collection plug in for Photoshop -- it's the Fraxplorer plug in

fractals are so amazing. They are so mind boggling -- a self similar infinite replicating pattern that can only be plotted due to the calculating capabilities of current CPU's. This tentacled rainbow took 10 minutes to render in its original 12 megabyte form.
I am currently rendering an Apophysis Julian fractal ato 2000 quality at a size that is taking an Intel dualcore 3.4 mhz processor with 2 gig of ram 10 hours to render.
so, yeah.
fractals are complex buggers, that's for sure.
