  I got a macro filter from a very nice person in England who does macro photography

  

  

  these are tiny white wild onion flowers.  If you pull them up, there is a tiny onion bulb on the bottom just above their roots.  The onion is less than a quarter inch across.  They are kind of like wild chives.  These are the first signs of spring on the Gulf Coast.  They bloom in February.
