Here's some advice I just wrote to someone.
Now I am going to give it to myself, and anyone else who reads it. It's good advice.
Each day, we strive to move forward, accomplishing our goals. In so doing, keep
a vertical axis always. Goals can sometimes hide the path to the
vertical axis. or they can facilitate it. It all depends on what goals
you have, and what precidence they take before Heaven. Daily business
of accomplishing necessary things has done in many a person. Clarity
counts. That does not mean you are not doing "right" now. It
means always be aware of the true priority of things. In the melee of
life, busy-ness can often cloud eternal goals and priorities, since
immediate goals give us a sense of purpose and fulfillment, and we may
not notice that their purpose or fulfillment is not based on the
eternal goals of Cheon Il Guk.

is this a cue to mellow out.... or just take it easy sometimes
Wow. Thanks for that! I'm currently working on gosh knows how many pictures for various contests and people, and have been neglecting my internal goals. Which is not good. I better keep what you said in mind.
Thanks!
P.S. Even cooler than the icy trees was the icy fields of tall grass. Very cool looking. Too bad we didn't have a nice camera like you guys! ^^

Hi DJ, moma Gertz here. TY for your comments to Aleks about her bro. Yer OK:o)
It's so true. The "Daily business of accomplishing necessary things" can almost become a comfort zone that's difficult to leave. Especially when you have young children, there is so many small, immediate tasks on a daily basis that if you are to create a list of everything that you did in a day, you would feel so accomplished... But for what? for keeping a 4.0? for having all the dishes in your sink washed by the end of the day? for running a 26mile marathon? In their own they are all amazing feets of self displine but in the end what's the purpose of these goals...What is our greater purpose?...What? What? What? What? What?
